Veterans who struggle with substance abuse or mental health issues receive rehabilitative services through the HVAF staff and the Veterans Administration. In addition to counseling and other services to deal with these issues, veterans are assisted through vocational rehabilitation. Rehabilitation services are monitored through case management and include monitoring of the veteran's attendance, punctuality, job performance, quality of work, ability to interact with co-workers, ability to accept supervision and direction and provision of documented information to the assigned case manager.
