Coming Home Book Project

HVAF of Indiana, Inc. employee Courtenay Nold is working on a book called 'Coming Home' which is a compilation of stories about coming home from military service as well as coming in off of the streets (after being a homeless veteran).

The 'Coming Home' Book Media Advisory is available here:  Coming Home Book Media Advisory.

What we are interested in is getting submission of stories from all of you.  No one will be personally identified in the book and this book will be based on timeframe (for instance stories from WWII individuals will be in one section).  Reasons for non-identification (by name) is to blur the lines between the homeless veterans and other veterans (and their families) stories as well as to protect the privacy of any individuals involved (who contribute stories).

If published 100% of the proceeds will go directly to help out these veterans and their families.

If any of you are interested in sharing any stories (while maintaining confidentiality of information) please send us your inputs by clicking here.  Please note that this book has a personal interest (family, friends, recovery, how they felt and what they dealt with, etc.) angle so would like stories to be along these lines.

The required Contributor Release Form is also available by clicking here

Please forward this information on to others who are veterans or have friends and family who are veterans so that we can get a wide range of experiences and stories for this project.
